Jan Žižka of Trocnov (1360 - 1424)
First appeared as a commander in the Battle of Sudoměř in 1420.
He subsequently participated in a series of battles, never suffering defeat.
During the siege of Rabí Castle he lost his second eye.
He died - apparently of plague - on October 11th 1424 not far from Přibyslav.
